ARCHE VR

Alcohol and Drug Use

Rise VR is an evidence-based virtual reality intervention designed to empower youth to resist alcohol and substance use by immersing them in realistic, high-risk scenarios like peer pressure situations and social gatherings. Leveraging cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques, Rise VR equips participants with essential refusal skills, helps them identify triggers, and guides them in practicing mindfulness to manage cravings. The program also uses biofeedback to enhance self-awareness of physiological responses to stress and temptation. By allowing youth to safely practice refusal strategies and decision-making skills in an engaging and controlled environment, Rise VR builds confidence and resilience, promoting long-term prevention. Adaptable for schools, community programs, and treatment settings, Rise VR is a powerful tool for reinforcing healthy behaviors and supporting youth in making positive life choices.
